Hallo! Great to meet you.
We are Anna and Roland and we moved to Cullompton from Warwick in the Midlands in 2021. We came because we fell in love with the house, not knowing the town or area at all, and to our delight found ourselves in a great location and, more importantly, an incredible community.
Within six months, we had firm made friends both among our neighbours and through the church just across from our house. We love being out and about in nature, so were soon exploring some of the beautiful places within easy reach of our house. The house needed quite a few bits and pieces doing on it – not least refurbishing Priory Nook – so we made sure we took some time out every weekend, more often than not chilling out at The Turf Hotel looking over the lovely Exe Estuary. The picture above was taken at Dawlish Warren one beautiful evening.
We had long had the idea that we would one day have a house where we could offer warm hospitality to visitors, and that’s exactly what we are able to do with Priory Nook. Anna’s background is a bit all over the place, with part of her childhood spent overseas and part in the Cotswolds, schooling in Cheltenham and University in Wales. She began her career back in Cheltenham, before moving to Leamington Spa. Roland’s trajectory is more straightforward, born in London and moving to Warwick, where he and Anna met, and the rest is history.
